Latest Irish Whiskeys Coming to America

Exciting news to begin 2023 as several Irish whiskey brands have announced new distribution deals in the USA. These brands should be on most local liquor store shelves in time for you to pick up a bottle ahead of any Saint Patrick's Day celebrations.
The Dingle Single Malt is the distillery's first core expression following years of small batch releases. This non age statement single malt has been matured for 6-7 years in a combination of bourbon (39%) and PX sherry (61%) casks. This triple distilled single malt at 46.3% abv will be distributed by Hotaling & Co. in 15 markets across the USA. First available in Ireland in May 2021, those residing in FL, CA, NJ, PA, IL, TX, MN, CT, CO, and MA should be able to purchase locally for ~$100.
Dublin Ink is a blended Irish whiskey sourced from a southern Ireland distillery. The blend is comprised of 50% malt finished in sherry casks and released at 45% abv. The brand has been imported by the Terlato Wine Group for initial release in New York, Chicago, and southern California. Additional distribution across the US during 2023 is expected. The brand is inspired by "the ink and warpaint adorning Irish warriors as they were led into battle by ancient Irish Kings." The bottle contains images referencing Celtic heritage and the Ireland's tattoo culture. Expect to see it on shelves for ~$55.
Fercullen Falls is the first release from Powerscourt Distillery using their own distillate. This 50% malt blend was aged in ex-bourbon, first fill bourbon, and heavily charred new oak casks. First released in Ireland as their flagship expression during October 2022 at 43% abv, it will be launched by Powerscourt in the USA effective January 2023. Distribution is expected in over 40 markets by Southern Glazer and Horizon Beverage Group. Three other Fercullen whiskey expressions are expected to be available including a single malt and two premium age statement expressions. Fercullen Falls should list for ~$40.
One of the few holdouts from the Writers' Tears range will finally be available in the USA in early 2023. Writers' Tears Red Head is the lone single malt expression in the core range and until now was only available outside the US. This 46% abv, non-age statement single malt is matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks. Imported by Hotaling & Co. in San Francisco, the limited edition release will be available for ~$70 in the following states: PA, NH, OH, MI, DC, MD, KY, MO, IL, MN, LA, TX, KS, NM, AZ, NV, CA, WA, CO, IN, FL and TX.
These four Irish whiskey releases represent a strong start to 2023. Stay tuned as more are expected in the USA soon including Jameson Single Pot Still and Powers Irish Rye. Press release articles on the four already announced can be found below:
