Prior to 2010, there were only 3 operating distilleries in Ireland: IDL, Bushmills, and Cooley. Since then, there has been an explosion of activity with almost 50 distilleries now distilling whiskey. Other new distilleries are still in the planning, construction, or licensing phase and will be added as they become operational.  Click the distillery icons below for more information.
