The Tairnesh is the IWSA reimagined version of a classic whiskey cocktail. Popularized by the Rat Pack in the 1960's, the Rusty Nail is a Scotch and Drambuie mix. The Irish word for nail is tairne. Both rust and tarnish are forms of metal corrosion.  We have made the classic recipe Irish while maintaining the honey and herbal notes of the original. By using our chosen ingredients, the drink also offers unique aromas consistent with paint varnish (but in a good way.) The Dublin 6 is the IWSA version of the Ward 8, the most famous cocktail to come out of Boston. The original pre-prohibition cocktail was created to celebrate the election victory of a powerful political "boss" in Boston's eighth ward neighborhood. This swanky part of Boston consisted of Beacon Hill, the West End and Fenway area.   The Peppermint Paddy is a festive Irish Whiskey cocktail that gets you in the holiday spirit without indulging in Christmas candy (unless you want to). Combining characteristics of chocolate and peppermint with whiskey can also help you cope through the year end holiday stress. The Irish Black Friday cocktail combines favorite spirits from the Emerald Isle to produce a dark but refreshing drink to wash down your Thanksgiving leftovers.
