2024 IWSA Member Group Galway Trip - May 2024

Celebrating Old and New 

Our 2024 IWSA trip features visits to the oldest distillery and oldest pub in Ireland. It also features visits to three of the newest distilleries to open giving members a look at a wide variety of whiskey makers in Ireland. Along the way we will take in the Burren and Cliffs of Moher while experiencing what makes Galway such a great place to visit. The trip will culminate in our group visit to WhiskeyLive Dublin.

Our 2024 IWSA Member Group Trip will occur from May 13-17th and be based in Galway City. The itinerary will follow a similar pattern to our 2023 Dublin trip with a combination of city centric activities, day trips to distilleries and other points of interest, and ending with WhiskeyLive Dublin. 

Free time is built in along with non-whiskey related activities to allow non-IWSA member traveling companions to enjoy the trip as well. Most nights are open for dinner allowing members to fully enjoy the pubs and music culture of Galway.

Travelers may wish to book multi-city airfare by flying into Shannon and out of Dublin airports. This is fairly easy to do on Aer Lingus. 

Please read the full itinerary and costs. Options are available for 5, 6, an 7 day trips depending on where/when you are traveling. Members are strongly encouraged to avail of the full 7 night option to provide most time to adjust to time zone change and allow for full enjoyment of both Galway and Dublin.
