2024 Izzy Award Nominations

We are excited to announce the nominations for the 3rd annual 2024 Irish Whiskey Society America (IWSA) Awards. The IWSA awards (Izzys) are unlike other whiskey competitions in two important ways. The Izzys are a fan voting competition which do not require blind tasting panels. (Think People's Choice Awards). This is the event for all Irish Whiskey fans to have your voice heard and participate in choosing your favorites in some fun and unusual categories. In addition, the Izzys are our way of keeping with our mission of "Celebrating Irish Whiskey in the USA". As such, to be eligible for the Izzys, an Irish Whiskey must be sold in the USA!

2024 Izzy Categories and Nominations were revealed during a live recording available to view on our YouTube channel. The top 5 nominees in the 12 total categories are highlighted below or watch the video for a discussion of the categories and whiskeys. All US residents 21 years or older are eligible to vote. The 2024 Izzy Voting Ballot can be found here. The 2024 Izzy celebration will culminate January 12th with another live event where we will announce and sample whiskeys from this year's chosen favorites.
